History


The Stone Chalet Bed and Breakfast Inn is a historic landmark bed and breakfast in Ann Arbor, located at 1917 Washtenaw, Ann Arbor Michigan 48104, and it is built in 1917 by Dean Myers made of hard cut solid granite blocks from a local quarry. Dean Myers and his family lived here until 1946 and later sold it to a Unitarian Church.

 

The Church later added two additions, the parsonage to host their priests and an event hall to host their congregations. Afterwards they sold the property and the property was then converted to an Ann Arbor bed and breakfast with an event hall to host weddings and other special occasions.

Carriage House

A free standing cottage with a bright red door and an original slate roof. The main entrance opens to the Gazebo Garden. Located behind the Parsonage, this quaint bungalow can be rented as meeting space for six to eight or as a private home away from home for up to four overnight guests. 

 

The Carriage House includes an informal meeting space, with a small kitchenette featuring a microwave, small refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, sink and dishwasher, along with a private full bathroom on the second floor.
