Formal Dining Room

Anchored by a regal fireplace, and flanked on both walls by expansive windows overlooking the gardens, our formal dining room is an elegant setting for luncheons, dinner meetings, showers, small weddings or executive gatherings.  

This stately room features antique furnishings, three ornate solid wood dining tables with intricately carved chairs, crown molding, and original hardwood floors, along with glass french doors for complete privacy. 

The 640 square foot formal dining room includes an enclosed 32 x 10 foot veranda that leads to the Gazebo Garden. Surrounded by windows on three exterior sides, this delightful space is ideal for a buffet. 

China, glassware, flatware, linens and clean up services are available or can be supplied by your caterer. Two air conditioners keep this room comfortably cool in the summer or you can open the screened windows as weather allows. Because we serve guests of the inn breakfast here daily, this room is typically available for private events between 11 am and 10 pm.
