Veranda Room

Located in the Main House on the 3rd Floor

NOTE: You can hear traffic noise from this room since it faces Washtenaw Avenue. If this is likely to disturb you we recommend that you choose a different room or bring earplugs.

BED: 1 king bed, no headboard.

BEDDING: Memory foam mattress, cotton sheets and blankets, pillows and comforter in winter.

BATHROOM: Private bathroom has a shower/tub combination.

HEATING AND COOLING: The room has an in room A/C unit and is heated by steam radiators.

FURNITURE: There are two chairs, love seat and a chest of drawers in the room.

WINDOWS: Original steel casement windows face the street covered with 2" Venetian blinds. A sheer curtain covers the window to the veranda door.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The room faces Washtenaw, and you can hear the traffic in the morning. This room is not suitable for children because of potential hot radiators and the veranda on the front of the house. The veranda door opens to the covered veranda and fire escape only to be used for emergencies. Cuckoo's and Veranda have a lockable door between so you could rent both rooms as a suite with two bathrooms.

There is a separate room listing in the booking engine called Veranda Suite that you can use to book both at the same time, when available.

No TV in room however please feel free to use the free WiFi to stream to your own device.
